Element Brass Band at Crescent Club

Last night Element Brass Band played at the Crescent Club Speakeasy in Old Sacramento. It was many of our first times there and I'm definitely going back.

We went to watch Gerald Pease preform at Cesar Chavez Park as part of their summer Concert in the Park series. It was an excellent show as always with gorgeous weather and a lot of people. One of the funnest parts of these concerts though has to be the people watching.

Quick Trip to the Forest

What a lovely 4th of July weekend we had! A quick 3 hour drive to Plumas was all we needed to set the weekend up right. Cole and I and some friends went to Plumas to camp for a few days. I'm glad we did because we were able to soak up the sun without the 100 degrees to go with it. After camping, playing in the river, and looking at the stars we came back home for work and to see the fireworks in Sacramento. Didn't miss the heat though.
