Baby Goes to the Park

Cutest. Kid. Ever. Our good friends have the most charismatic 18 month old I've ever met. We all headed out to the park to get a few shots and what a fun time it was! I had such a blast running around and taking pictures and would do it any time :)

Joey's Modeling Monday Mania

Joey and I took a stroll around downtown and took a few photos. I woke with an idea in mind and luckily he volunteered to help act it out.

Summer is Back

Finally! Summer came back and we all know what that means: sangria! White wine and fruit to cool off on a hot day? Can't beat that.

Graduation Weekend in Oregon

My little brother graduated high school this weekend! I drove up to Southern Oregon to watch him receive his diploma. What a lovely ceremony it was! My brother beamed all weekend long and the family couldn't have been more proud of him graduating and moving forward.

Element Brass Band at Shady Lady

Ryan Robertson's Element Brass Band was a fantastic way to help wrap up this year's Jazz Jubilee. While they weren't in the actual festival they were a definite must-see of the weekend. They brought so much excitement and energy to the crowd it was almost unreal.
For more pictures check out the album on Facebook or see them in high definition on my site.

In The Flow Sacramento

Element Brass Band, Anthony Coleman's Enoeca ft. LaKeisha Mondy and Scott Thompson, and Drifting Shapes played at Luna's Cafe in Sacramento as part of the In The Flow Festival. Each band had such a unique style and it was a lot of fun to sit back and watch them play.

Jazz Jubilee

Memorial Day weekend in Old Sacramento marks the yearly anniversary of the Jazz Jubilee. This year I followed Sankofa, an Afrobeat band around the festival and watched as they had their audiences dancing by the end of each performance. They are so energetic and lively and were a ton of fun to work with and I can't wait until their next show.
